Website Launch for Kid Disaster

I was recently approached by Kid Disaster for a website. So I decided to give them a nice look and use WordPress. I’m really happy with the way this one turned out. The colors and design all flow together really well. I wanted to utilize all of their social sites. That brought me to the twitter feed on the top along with the Tumblr feed on the main page. I also decided that adding each individual members twitter feed would be a nice touch in displaying a little more personality per member.

Overall I’m extremely happy with this website and I’m glad I had the chance to work with these guys!

Nineteen Eighty Seven Design Facebook – Web Launch

For the past few weeks I’ve been working on multiple project’s along with school and other things. I started thinking of ideas for a new website for 1987clothing.com. I recently did a Adobe CS5 Project for school and I used this photo that I took on my way into Detroit, MI. Once I seen how that turned out it opened up ideas for a website. So thus began my thought process on building a website based on that picture.

The Photoshop project for school allowed me to mask the city thus allowing me to add whatever I needed in the background/sky. Some of the ideas for things in the sky came out of random. Some of them have meaning and that is why they are in the picture.

I decided that this is supposed to be a graphic design portfolio. So I wanted to use my graphic design as well as my web design skills. I also decided it was time to release as much work as I had that I thought was portfolio worthy, which is decent amount of work. I think it turned out really good.

When I decided to redo the website I thought it might be time to get a Facebook since I am on every other Social Network. So I made a Facebook and launched that at the same time I launched the website. Check out the website and Facebook and Like Nineteen Eighty Seven Design on Facebook!

JWorks Management Website Launch

Since the launch of iFilehere.com, I’ve been working on another project for JWorks Management. The project included branding and website design using a WordPress CMS integration. ifilehere.com Website Launch

I’ve been working on several projects right now. I’ve also been working on finishing my associates in graphic design. Boy, am I busy! So one of the projects i’ve been working on is www.ifilehere.com a tax return website. They are a local company from Michigan, so I was pretty excited to work with them!

This website is based on wordpress cms. I’ve been working alot lately with wordpress theme’s and they really seem to be easy to launch and maintain. I’ve launch a blog, forums and newsletter with this site. I also recreated the top logo and all of the images on the website itself. Overall it turned out pretty well! I’m excited to continue working with them!

Updated blog

Today and yesterday I’ve managed to get the blog updated and had to work on the layout a bit to get it back and running completely how it was. I’m still updating and adding things and will be throughout the day. I will also have a new post tomorrow with a new shirt design that I recently finished.

Final Thought Website Design Launch

The past week or so has been so stressful preparing for the release of the new Final Thought Website. I’ve been working really hard on this project and I think it is one of the best project’s I have done to date. I always love working with these guys! They are open to just about anything and with the combination of that and the music style they hold my possibilities go pretty out there. I originally started designing with their CD Album “What We Need” That is to be released November 8th 2011. I recently made a post about completing the CD Album which you can find here and here showing the artwork to the entire album.

After I finished working with the album I went on to design the Website, New blog, MySpace, Youtube and the Merchandise store. I really wanted to get these guys going on a website that had alot more interaction thus why I brought the blog into the equation. I wanted to drive a bit more traffic to the website as well as give a nice visual presence and as I said, more interaction. This time around I put a Adobe Flash Music player incorporated into the website so users could listen to music while they browse the blog posts and other content on the website.

Nineteen Eighty Seven Design Web Update

I have been working on the main page of www.1987clothing.com. Currently adding things such as a new photo gallery, updated coding and the new header. I will eventually be adding them over to the blog and Tumblr layouts as well.

More projects will also be released soon as well and I really can not wait until those are brought out for people to see. I just finished the Final Thought CD Album “What We Need” You can read more about it in my last post. I will also be building a website for them based on the album design which I will be posting about as soon as it is finished!

OH! Also.. Check out my photoshop brushes! I am not finished adding all of my new brushes either. I still have about 12 new brushes at the least to bring out.

Final Thought CD Packaging Project

I think this album design that I’ve been working on for the band Final Thought is really turning out well.These guys are definitely worth listening to if you have a chance!
